🟣 Are you a fully registered food business? 🟣
Of course, we’re a registered food business with Runnymede Borough Council, we uphold a 5 star food hygiene rating and our staff are qualified with a Level 2 Food Hygiene and Safety in Catering Diploma.
🟣 Do you have a processing time? 🟣
While we do advertise a 2-3 day processing time, this is only used when it’s required. If we can ship your order out faster than our 2-3 day processing time then we will.
🟣 How long does shipping take? 🟣
We use the DPD Next Day Delivery service which is available at checkout. Although this service aims to deliver parcels within the next working day, please do allow up to 5 working days for your parcel to arrive before contacting us. Please note, Next Day delivery is only available for mainland UK, parcels being delivered outside of mainland UK may take two days. The cut off for orders wanting same day dispatch is 12pm Monday-Friday, unless stated otherwise on our website.
🟣 What hygiene measures are taken? 🟣
At Sweets and Sour, hygiene is our number one priority. Our workstations are sanitised daily and the warehouse is deep cleaned weekly to ensure hygiene is 100% at all times.
🟣 How do you package orders? 🟣
We mainly use packaging peanuts alongside strong cardboard boxes for protection during delivery. However, some packaging peanuts may contain wheat. Please do make us aware if this concerns you or you have a wheat allergy, etc… so that we can send your order out with alternative protective materials to keep your goodies safe during transit. Bubble wrap is used to provide an additional layer of protection on fragile products, and hive wrap is used to protect glass products.
🟣 Do you accept cancellations, returns or refunds? 🟣
Unfortunately, due to the nature of our products we do not accept cancellations and returns. Once an order has been placed, shipping will be applied automatically meaning that we cannot accept any cancellations. With regards to refunds, Sweets and Sour will take the responsibility to refund you if an order has arrived damaged, however photographic evidence is required via email within 24 hours of delivery. After this time period, Sweets and Sour will not refund. If an order has been lost and it has been over the 10 working days with Royal Mail, we can investigate and open up a claim with the courier to refund/replace your order.
